Messinia wine roads unravel through the wine-producing area of Trifilia, and along with Pylia, Nestoras and Messini – also carpeted with vineyards – make a wonderful starting point for tourism throughout Messinia.

In the summer time, the wine roads of Messinia are superb for wine tourism, but the region is great to explore all year round. After your tour at the vineyards and winery cellars, hit one of the fantastic beaches stretching on the western coast of Messinia, dine at the waterfront or head to the inland villages, explore nature and visit the Venetian fortresses and Byzantine castles in the area.
