Why it’s worth visiting |
Because a visit to Ktima Spiropoulos is synonymous with a visit to the vineyard of Mantinia, both as far as position (800meters from Ancient Mantinia, its theatre and market and from the special church of Agia Fotini which is a unexpected site of the area) and wine history are concerned since it is one of the oldest, if not the oldest estate in the area. For the local, traditional architecture of the winery (stone tower) and for the tour in Ktima Spiropoulos, which, except wine, treats the area and its history, local products etc with care. |
