Argolida wine roads

Argolida Wine Roads go through the vineyards of the Nemea wine zone (PDO Nemea wines), north of the motorway of the Eastern Peloponnese, in the region of Lyrkia and south, in the region of Malandreni. They continue in the areas of Argos, Kranidi and Troezen. Many are the opportunities for wine tourism in Argolida Wine Roads:

  • One day excursions to Nafplio, through Epidaurus or through the junction of Sterna
  • The evening show in the Theatre of Epidaurus is combined with a one day trip to central Argolida where the vineyards are
  • Holidays in Nafplio, Tolo, Drepano, Candia and Iria, in the Valley of Kranidi, in Porto Cheli and Ermioni
  • Journey to Messinia or Laconia- with a small detour and a delay (through Sterna junction) there is the possibility of visiting at least one winery

Two are the main accesses to Argolida Wine Roads:
1. The motorway of Eastern Peloponnese A7/E65 which runs across the Western part of Argolida, coming from Corinth and on the way to Tripoli, Kalamata. The entrance to Argolida is through Sterna Junction

2. National Road 70, coming from Corinth, Sofiko, runs across a great part of Argolida (Ancient Epidaurus, Epidaurus-Ligourio Theatre, and Argos). From Epidaurus to Nafplio, a little before Ligourio, the new, fast and comfortable route begins
